Hello, and nice to meet you.

My name is Valeria Levinson, I live in Israel for twelve years, but was born in Russia. I believe that it doesn’t matter from where or how old one is. If a person sets his mind on something and is prepared to do anything to achieve his goal, there is nothing in the world that can stop him. 

But a person shouldn’t only dream about things he desires, because a dream can die or change many times. It has to become a goal, be set down on paper and be given to someone, so that you’ll be embarrassed not to achieve this goal. Just make sure that the goal is logical, imagine it to yourself, pick a date by which you want to achieve it and outline to yourself the actions you need to take in order to achieve this goal.

Don’t ever think something is impossible, because I can proudly say that I accomplished my goal and so can you. My story begins in the year 2000. I was just finishing high-school, working in a sports shop and having a good time with my friends when my mother came to me with an idea. She told me that we can earn money through the web. I was familiar with the net since 1996 and told my mother, who in fact didn’t even know how to turn on a computer, that it is a crazy fantasy. I said it because I didn’t know anyone who got as much as dollar through the net. So I continued working at the store in the shopping centre, while my mother, to my great surprise planted herself firmly in front of the computer, which was very unusual.
When I turned 18 I was already running the sports store, planning to go to the university, and had no specific plan for my future. My mother tried a few to convince me to of the prospects of the net, but still I refused. I liked my job, it was easy and fun. I opened the store at 10 am and finished working by 4-5 pm. It was an ideal job until the beginning of the economic crisis in Israel. First, many people stopped visiting the shopping centre and finally they stopped buying altogether. I found myself out of job. 
While I was using running from lawyer and up and down the Israeli bureaucratic chain in order to get my unemployment alliance, my mother opened seven businesses on the net and began to reap the results. It was then that I realized that this sphere is very progressive. I stopped and asked myself: is there any occupation, where I wouldn't have to bother about money, not have to work 10 hours a day and enjoy the work? 
In the position that Israel was in, it was impossible to find such a job. Everything was spiraling downwards. Businesses were going bankrupt, people were being fired, the economy was in a deep pit from which it still can’t find a way out. That’s when I made up my mind and started my education in e-commerce. 

Now I’m a marketing manager in the institute of e-commerce in Israel. I’m on the managing board and have my own internet businesses. I enjoy teaching people who are interested in getting a new profession or opening a new business on the net. I offer my consulting skills and knowledge of the net to firms and individuals who are interested in creating an internet project or upgrading an existing one.
